The issue leads to a black screen, preventing players from seeing their surroundings.
Call of Duty: Warzone is within the midst of its Haunting in Verdansk limited-time event that adds a spooky vibe to match the vacation season. But some players are experiencing a black screen once they drop into the map and can't see their surroundings, preventing them from playing the sport.
Hey IW, i know you wanted to make night mode immersive but this just might be a bit too dark from r/CODWarzone
One player uploaded a clip of them parachuting into the map at the beginning of a match like normal, but their screen was completely black once they didn’t have their map open. When the player closed their map to regulate their descent, the screen turned a solid black, making it impossible to play the sport.
Other players have reported an equivalent issue and claimed that it doesn't disappear unless they leave the sport. One player managed to seek out and drive an ATV, which fixed the matter but only while driving.
It is unclear what causes this issue, but it doesn't appear to be isolated to a selected game mode. The black screen occurs at the start of the match, and players can back bent resolve the matter, although it's still an inconvenience. Some players joked about the glitch matching the spooky theme, but most fans aren't amused.
Players recently experienced a glitch that causes their gun to be misaligned and also were forced to affect an exploit that allowed players to possess unlimited tactical equipment. Infinity Ward is continuously resolving and identifying Warzone issues, so fans may even see a fix for the matter soon.
